FENIX® returns to Lake Como Design Festival with temporary restaurant setup
For its second edition at Lake Como Design Festival – from September 15th to 22nd – FENIX is the design protagonist of a culinary event: the Temporary Restaurant curated by Michelin-starred chef Samuel Carugati, within the charming area of Serra del Grumello.
The Temporary Restaurant is part of Lake Como Design Festival, an annual event set in historic and unexpected locations throughout Como, fostering a dialogue between history, architecture, design, and art through exhibitions, talks, and events. In 2023, FENIX joined the event with the ambitious project of “Returning to Villa Casa Bianca.”
This year, the chosen theme for the festival is “lightness”. Embracing it, FENIX essential aesthetics beautifully blends with the location, where large windows and transparent elements play with daylight and surrounding nature.
The chef’s counter in FENIX Nero Ingo becomes stage of scenographic plating, while the circular table tops welcome diners showing eight different brand’s colours. Created in collaboration with Pedrali, the dining tables feature inspiring nuances, opacity, and the unmistakable soft touch of the material. Rosso Namib, Viola Orissa, Giallo Evora, Blu Shaba, Verde Kitami, Verde Comodoro, Rosso Askja and Grigio Aragona, enhance FENIX versatility, capable of customising any surface and maintaining a pleasant harmony.
Co-sponsor of the restaurant within Serra del Grumello together with Davide Groppi and Acqua Chiarella, FENIX returns to Lake Como Design Festival reaffirming its strong bond with hospitality projects, both for furnishing and the creation of bespoke design objects.
Throughout the festival, Serra del Grumello will host a series of talks, promoted by Parola Progetto and moderated by journalist Paolo Ferrarini, featuring the designers who created the projects of Contemporary Design Selection, one of the event’s main exhibitions.
